His designs span a wide variety of fields, from precision electronic equipment to furniture and interior spaces.
Fukasawa has won numerous awards, including the 2018 Isamu Noguchi Award. In 2007, he was accorded the title of Honorary Royal Designer for Industry (Royal Society of Arts, UK). He has authored books, the recent one published in 2018 'Naoto Fukasawa EMBODIMENT' (PHAIDON).
