Designer:
Marie Christine Dorner
In 2017, Marie Christine Dorner brings
us a small desk in the same spirit as
her Iso bridge. The same structure in
blocks of solid wood, the same
angulation of the curvature of the two
sides, the same sobriety of the
natural or black finish. However, this
economy of expression, a very
Japanese type of minimalism, also
brings us a highly functional kind of
constructive geometry: more than just
a desk, Osi is a desk/bookshelf
offering a storage compartment
beneath its work surface with
document storage in the front right
section and a larger space generous
enough to accommodate a row of
books to the rear.
Structure and base in blocks of
natural varnished solid oak (or blackstained
solid oak), squared with off
white (or black) lacquered panels.
Work surface (W 130 x 70 cm) in 12
mm thick MDF panels finished in white
(or black) Fenix laminate with
matching Fenix edges. Internal
dimensions of the front right storage
compartment: H 18 x W 30 x D 39 cm.
Internal dimensions of the rear
bookshelf: H 20 x W 24/77/24 x D 26
cm.
